The Department of Research and Development (R&D) is actively engaging the public through a series of Community Update Sessions held in all districts of the County in an effort to (1) let all communities know the initiatives R&D is pursuing in collaboration with community, nonprofit, government, and business partners in R&D's program areas; (2) provide access to R&D leadership and program specialists; (3) answer community questions where possible; (4) listen to and document community concerns; and (5) increase trust and capacity within communities that will empower participatory problem solving.
